If you like Pontiac’s the 400 engine bock is the way to go. This is one of Doug’s favorite builds. No stock rods in this engine we use only Eagle connecting rods.   • Seasoned 400 Pontiac Block
  • Bored and honed with deck plate
  • Mains have been align honed
  • Block has been decked
  • Dura Bond cam bearings
  • Brass freeze plug and oil galley kit
  • Main bolts (ARP)
  • Block painted with 3 coats of high temp ceramic engine paint customer’s choice of color
  • Steel crankshaft (Eagle)
  • Performance rod and main bearing (Clevite, King or Federal Mogul)
  • I-Beam connecting rods with ARP bolts (Eagle)
  • Forged performance pistons (Speed-Pro, Keith Black, SRP, or Mahle)
