Company History

Welcome to Proformance Unlimited. Our business was started by owner Doug Mascaritola in 2002. Doug learned the skills of the trade at the age of 13 while working at his family’s machine shop. Little did he know this would become his way of life. From there, the rest is history.

Our first building was in Ocean, NJ. That was outgrown quickly and a larger facility in Freehold, NJ was our next location. Doug and Steve were getting tired of the cold winters in NJ and in 2015 decided it was time to relocate to a warmer state. The choice was Melbourne, FL.

Whether you are presently looking to power your timeless classic car or building an Airboat look no further. With our strict standards, you can be rest assured that you will receive a 100% perfect engine that will stand up to the test of time. Each build is hand assembled by our Master Engine builder and owner Doug Mascaritola. All engines are custom built to order to assure that your crate engine will arrive just the way you need it.
