Powerboat racing 80 to 140mph

	Red Bank—“Miss Red Bank”, owned by Lou and Chris Mustillo and sponsored by the Wall Street Pub of Red Bank, had a winning weekend (July 26-27) at the Cambridge Classics in Maryland With A Proformance Unlimited Engine In Cockpit.       “Miss Red Bank” won first places in races last weekend and the wins were capped off with the presentation of the Skeeter Johnson Memorial Trophy for Campion 6 Hydroplane. This boat received the award previously in 2000, the same year it won the national championship, making it the only boat to win the trophy twice in the 98-year history of the race, which is sponsored by the American Powerboat Association.      Driver Mark Johnson of Niagara Falls, NY and crew chief Manny Rodriguez of Eatontown were on hand both times, being crew members of the Mustillo Racing Team since 1993. Glenn Mustillo and sister Jacqui and Dotty Dick are crew members who assisted in this year’s race. Article was in the Two River Times on August 8th 2008

October 4th, 2008 Hydrofest at Sunset Lake Wildwood, NJ

It was a beautiful Saturday morning in Wildwood. Doug Mascaritola, owner and President of Proformance Unlimited, interviewed the owner of Miss Red Bank and Miss USA, Lou Mustillo, along with driver Mark Johnson & crew Chief Manny Rodriguez.

Lou has been in the hydro boat racing for over 20 years. Miss Red Bank & Miss USA are qualified National Modified Hydro boats. Their top speeds reach over 150mph. The vessels of the boats are equipped with oxygen, radios for communication, and escape hatches in case of turnover.

Mark Johnson, the driver of Miss Red Bank, has been racing boats since the age of 14. Manny Rodriguez, the crew chief, has been with this race team 13 years. With the experience and knowledge of this team, we are proud to have been chosen as their engine provider.
